Description

I believe that art can free us from all assumptions that "◯◯ must be this way" or "◯◯ should be that way. From 2018 to 2019, I created several works on the theme of oiran (courtesans). An extension of the times. A life born on earth in the same country. I have unbuttoned the round topknot, the symbol of the "oiran" (courtesan) figure, and created a fluid composition in which ornamental hairpins and hairpins are scattered as if dancing in the sky. It signifies liberation and rebirth from an implied history. I would be happy if you could display this work as a flower that continues to bloom strongly as a place for those who have been forced to leave their place.

Concept

I don't let ART end up as ART.
In the course of my activities as a painter, I have painted in a variety of environments other than on canvas.
Sometimes on a large wall in the city, sometimes on a shutter in a shopping district. In the midst of all this, one thought became stronger day by day. There are still things my ART can do. ART is something that is there for a while, but sometimes it attracts people, connects them, and eventually they want it to "stay there forever". The dots of ART that I create connect one person, one second, and blend into the city, life, and history. That is the form of ART I am aiming for.

Does this art work need a frame?

In many cases, art works with a canvas stretched over a wooden frame can be displayed as is. Thin art works other than canvases are easier to frame. For any questions or concerns please chat us.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
