Water lilies open their flowers in the morning and close in the evening.
Water lilies live with the sun.
The language of flowers is "purity of heart" and "trust.

Many colors are sneaked into the white water lilies.
Also, the surface of the water is mainly blue, giving it a tweed-like appearance.
Various colors can be seen glimmering from below.

I create my works with Japanese themes such as "all things in the universe," "flowers, birds, wind, and the moon," "the five elements of yin-yang," and "the 24 solar terms.

Concept

About 10 years ago, I published a book describing my experiences visiting the most famous shrine in Japan, Ise Jingu, and 125 related shrines. I also became interested in ancient Japanese mythology in which the deities of these shrines appear, and have now visited over 200 shrines. Through this experience, I have come to embrace the ancient Japanese concept that all things in the forest are inhabited by gods.

I also draw inspiration from the primitive shapes of Jomon pottery, the rich design of the Rimpa school, and the flat landscapes depicted in the ukiyoe prints of the Edo period.

I love fashion and want to use beautiful patterns and colors in my work. I want to fill the world with love through layers of beautiful colors and express the fact that we are not alone.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
