I think it is beautiful to see dead leaves dancing in the wind.
The trees are starting to prepare for spring.

To express the force of the wind, I applied a thick layer of acrylic paint and scratched it.
Gold and purple paints were sprinkled around it.
For some of the dead leaves, natural rock paints (Momorenishi).
I wanted to incorporate natural painting materials into Kacho Fugetsu as much as possible.
A Japanese squirrel gazes with dull eyes at the dancing dead leaves.
The eyes are also slightly puffy.
I want to live in harmony with nature and living creatures.
We cannot see them, but we are connected to them.
It is precisely because we cannot see them that we are attached to them.
I make artworks on Japanese themes such as "all things in the forest," "flowers, birds, wind, and the moon," "the five elements of yin-yang," and "the 24 solar terms.
I want to connect with them in this painting.
