I like to paint mountains. Fuji is my favorite among them.
Fuji looks different depending on the day and time I see it, my feelings and physical condition at that time.

This time, I painted Mt. Fuji surrounded by sparkling memories and kindness.
I hope it makes you smile every time you look at it.

The bubbles are made of lame like diamonds.
I hope you will enjoy how it looks different depending on the light and angle.

Though we can't see them, we are connected.

I create my works based on Japanese themes such as "all things in the universe," "flowers, birds, wind, and the moon," "the five elements of yin-yang," and "the 24 solar terms.

Concept

About 10 years ago, I published a book describing my experiences visiting the most famous shrine in Japan, Ise Jingu, and 125 related shrines. I also became interested in ancient Japanese mythology in which the deities of these shrines appear, and have now visited over 200 shrines. Through this experience, I have come to embrace the ancient Japanese concept that all things in the forest are inhabited by gods.

I also draw inspiration from the primitive shapes of Jomon pottery, the rich design of the Rimpa school, and the flat landscapes depicted in the ukiyoe prints of the Edo period.

I love fashion and want to use beautiful patterns and colors in my work. I want to fill the world with love through layers of beautiful colors and express the fact that we are not alone.

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
