I was 5 years old when I stood in front of my house, waiting for my mother, with whom I was going to go to one celebration. She prepared for a long time and I was bored. There were no smartphones at that time. I stood and looked at the flower near the house. I still remember this flower: color, petals, even the May air around me and this flower. There were other flowers in the garden, but I only looked at this one. Suddenly, the thought came to mind, what if this is not true? what if there is no flower? Or is it there, but of a different shape and color, and I see it differently? What if I see everything differently, and my mother, other people also see everything in their own way? And what if this flower is seen differently by everyone? This thought engulfed me and then came back for periods. Only after 30 years, reading spiritual teachers, I realized that this question was in my head for a reason.
Abstract textured acrylic painting on canvas 100x100x2cm. Mixed Media on gallery wrapped canvas. The work is ready to hang. No framing required. The sides of the work are painted.
The artwork is signed, dated and titled. Original artwork with signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Style: semi-abstract. My technique shows some influence from abstract expressionism and modern art. I use original mixed media, in which undiluted acrylic paint, ink, gel medium, structure paste are applied to the canvas.
I like to paint impasto abstract paintings. I use spatulas, tubes for writing and usual knives for fruits to build three-dimensional flowers and surfaces in my pictures.
