Description

This artwork is symbolic of people waking up to who they really are and stepping out into what they were meant to be doing in their lives. It shows the awakening of someone who discovered their identity.

I have used a lot of techniques on this piece, some Dutch pour, stamps, paint skins, stencils and collage all in tones of purple and yellow ochre, embellished with crystal gemstones. It does have a little bit of a Klimt style in it.

I love this piece as it signifies my own journey as an artist and my own personal discovery of who I was meant to be.

The panels will have D rings and wire for hanging installed before shipping.

Concept

Aya Sophie is a contemporary abstract and symbolism artist that works with movement and layers in her art.
She takes advantage of her background of having lived in the United States, New Zealand, and her own country, Japan, to create her own unique style and atmosphere.

She uses acrylics, Japanese washi, some pouring techniques and stencils in her art with a varnish finish to create that ethereal feel in her abstracts. She uses depth of color and harmony to create layers in her symbolism art.

"I believe that my paintings are a window into another world. I am sharing a world I see with the eyes of my heart. I want to bring a world to a person's soul that builds up and heals, a world you can sit in and experience and feel the atmosphere that it may touch something deep in one's heart."

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
