Why a bandit?
Because the polar bear, as one of the world’s most beloved animals, has stolen our hearts!
I live in the Toronto area of Canada. Racoons (truly bandits!) run rampant here at night! So it is no wonder, in this artwork from my imagination, that this polar bear portrait has taken on a racoon-like look.
But in this painting the halo -like moon behind, is meant to shines on this bear’s innocence, that it needs to be protected from OUR marauding like ways.
This is an acrylic + gold metallic acrylic painting on wood panel. The sides are painted black giving the work a graphic look. The paint is slightly textured.
The painting is wired and ready to hang.
