The Sirin bird is a messenger bird of paradise that informs people about important events. The bird lives in Iria - in paradise where the highest gods live and can easily move between worlds.
One of the legends says that Sirin likes to visit apple orchards in August, on Apple Day. A beautiful creature sits on a branch and sings a sad song, and then cries over the fruits of the trees. After Sirin’s sadness, the garden is filled with fun and laughter of the Alkonost bird, which accompanies to Sirin. When the rituals of two paradise birds are completed, the apples receive healing powers.
