This art work was created by the artist during the performance at the opening solo exhibition "The AnOther Skin" by Vasili Zianko in Vienna in December 2019 (Desiderio Gallery Nº1 Art Lounge). The performance was called "MARRIAGE CONTRACT". The artist painted the girl's body, putting a special meaning into the use of colors and strokes:

White color - symbolized tenderness, purity, love and spirituality.
Red - violence, blood, cruelty and death.
A red handprint on a woman's nude body, like a sentence, like a seal, on a doomed life and fate - the price that a woman sometimes pays for marriage...

Concept

Creates pieces with personal technique, marked by original view on interaction between humanity and nature. Personal technique is based on painting with acryl on canvas with use of different textures, thinnest glazing, volumetric outlines. Pieces contain deep understanding of human being, philosophical problems, which are always relevant to humanity. The artist is capable of poetising natural phenomenons, weaving thoroughgoing relief arabesques from simple lines.
