In this piece, I wanted to capture not just the visual essence of heather fields, but their spirit and energy. Working with acrylics allowed me to build layers of emotion through quick, intuitive brushstrokes. I found myself completely lost in the dance between colors - the way deep blues embrace gentle pinks, how turquoise whispers through the composition, creating depth and movement.
The inspiration came during one of my walks through heathlands, where the morning light was playing with dewdrops on heather petals. That magical moment needed to be expressed not through precise botanical representation, but through the language of feelings and movement.
