Based on her own concept of "modern ukiyoe", the JD-girl series depicts manga heroines based on the theme of ukiyoe beauty paintings. The artist creates her works through the filter of Japanese manga, with the concept of the unique Japanese line expression and the margins created by the line expression. The drawing process reproduces the analog drawing process of manga (draft, pen, eraser, solid color, and screen tone), and the dots in the screen tones are created using silk screen tones, his original drawing material. The colors of the backgrounds are determined based on color psychology to give the viewer a hint of the characters' emotions.
