My inspiration is Georg Baselitz paintings.
Playing with the fluidity of paint, I allow it to spread out in some places, to take on a life of its own. And in the places I need, I interrupt the process rigidly and limit the influence of gravity. This allows me to feel my power over a small piece of the universe. Then I form recognizable images, outlining the contours, adding details, creating a kind of plot. My own allusions to Baselitz's allusions turn out. It's like this...

I work without stretcher, in Jackson Pollock style. I call this style associative expressionism or Neo-Expressionism.
I allow the canvas to be stretched evenly on the stretcher by heating it locally for a short time because the paint is very elastic and persistent. After much experimentation I have finally found the right paint, which has excellent flowability, elasticity and colorfastness, as well as being environmentally friendly and pleasant to use. I have been using it for three years now. It works best on synthetic canvas.
The work is covered by water-based varnish. Delivery in a tube.
