I work without a stretcher, in the style of Jackson Pollock. I call this style associative expressionism.
I allow the canvas to be stretched evenly on the stretcher by heating it locally for a short time because the paint is very elastic and persistent. After much experimentation I have finally found the right paint, which has excellent flowability, elasticity and colorfastness, as well as being environmentally friendly and pleasant to use. I have been using it for three years now. It works best on synthetic canvas.
The work is covered by water-based varnish. Delivery in a tube.
The full size canvas - 95 x 106 cm.
