  • About this artist

    Concept

    >>My first experience with/discovery of art and what made me wanted to become an artist

From the early childhood, from the times as far as I could remember, through the years, I was drawing and painting. And I never stopped, till today.
The sense of silence and concentration, as if only me and the paper or canvas are out there in the universe, and only that is what matters.
The sense of creation, making something brand new, in your own way, longing to be born from the inside, from the soul.
Erecting the artwork without obeying the rules, and where not to is absolutely fine, and perfectly allowed, or even welcomed.

Braking all kind of norms, from the laws of physical matter we are witnessing here on our planet Earth, through the norms which limit our way of living, from gravitation, slowly and heavily means of transportation, passing on the time so quickly, to even being born in flash and bones bodies, which we must leave on the command.

In the Ether of the my art everything is different and possible, transportation as a teleportation, freeing the souls from the strict structure of embodiment, flying, hovering and levitation, where time is behaving as the one pleases, accelerates or pastes, by the will of the beholder.

That fairytale world of arts is the reason I cannot live without it.

    >>Key themes, messages or theories behind my work

Through the paintings I create my own parallel universe.
I let pictures from the subconscious or almost forgotten memories, from my early childhood or even before, to swim out on the surface.
This is where my inspiration comes from the unknown. Ideas for my art are born trough the special sense of composition, beauty and proportions.
Dominant line of my creation is personification of the creatures of the world from the beyond, supernatural goddess, light angels, from the world where harmony and divine order reign – motives of the strange creatures from the other world, from the unknown parallel universes. The place, where good giants live in the own kingdoms, among the birds in the white cloudy sky, or among fish in deep blue waters. Where everything is blissful and bright, where everything happens for a reason, and where there are no regrets. The place under the tender eye and guidance of the Saints from all religions ever existed from the beginning of time till today, or even of God himself. The place under the warm ray of Sun, where friendships are made for life, and Planets are turning in their own dance.
Probably, the major massage of my art is to bring harmony and sense of order in the spaces where they should be. To open a window to a better, kinder and more sensible world.

    >>My artistic approach? (Style, medium and specific techniques.)

Currently I am working on canvas with acrylic paint. This technique allows to combine several other techniques as well as the density and solidness of oil paint with the floating lightness of watercolors.
Also, I love to create in mixing techniques, using watercolors with markers, color pencils, ink pens etc.

    >>My personal quote/sentence that best represents me as an artist

My paintings are embodiment of color - bright and open, or ever direct color, and their dominant themes are unearthly forms and shapes, supernatural motives.

Its vividness of color brings joy to the foggy everyday life, reminding the onlookers to dream, to create, to produce art in every aspect of the living, and to have joy.
