This painting is my reflection on the new song "Cold" by Anastasiya Prikhodko and Oleksandr Surov.
In my heart shattered dreams reside,
Yet in sad eyes, hope does abide!..
They aimed at the soul, broke my wings,
But my strength, they knew not, beneath these rings..
To none, my essence will I concede,
Freedom — all I possess, indeed!
Never shall I yield what's mine,
No matter the plight, the line!..
Cold...
In my home, the chill does unfold,
Yet from it, never shall I withhold!..
For texture on the primed canvas before painting, a layer of textured paste with small glass particles is applied and then sanded with sandpaper for smoothness.
The artwork is done in mixed media. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam
and Italian fine-grained cotton canvas tm Unico were used in the work. Finish - satin varnish.
The ends are painted in the background color.
Additional framing is not required. I called this series "Life in Avatar".
This artwork is signed in front and with back and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
