In this piece, I capture the spirit of independence and defiance. The
central figure stands poised yet resolute, a silent assertion of self in

echo themes of curiosity and composure. The stark monochrome palette
against the subtle hues evokes a timeless struggle between conformity
and personal liberty. It's an ode to the courage of claiming one's space
in the world. What's wrong with your appearance? You're a girl, dress
properly! You're already married, wear a proper skirt! If you want to
earn decently, don't wear ripped jeans, wear a dress or a suit. If you
want to be a real artist, then paint something real, not this stuff.
What's real? Hell knows what's real. All my life someone's been trying
to program my brain, because that someone probably knows better.) For
texture on the primed canvas before painting, a layer of textured paste
with small glass particles is applied and then sanded with sandpaper.
