The lotus flower is a symbol of refined and perfect beauty all over the world.
Although the lotus is mainly known as the sacred flower of Buddha, it is also revered in other religions of the world.
In Hinduism, it symbolizes prosperity, good health, divinity and eternity.
In Christianity, the lotus is associated with eternal life, resurrection and spiritual purification.
In ancient Egypt, the lotus was highly revered and was also considered sacred.
Lotus is truly wonderful! Its roots are underwater and feed on silt. Blooming every day with a clean, bright bud, the flower is always facing the sun. At sunset, the buds close and go under water, so that in the morning they can again enjoy the sun and life.
At first glance, the flower seems tender and vulnerable. But he has enormous strength and can serve as an example of faith in the best, despite all the difficulties.
Acrylic on paper. For hanging on the wall, I recommend a frame with a mat (the internal size of the mat is no more than 16.5*24.5 cm).
In my studio, the work hangs framed in a mat (16.8*24.3 cm) and a wooden frame (29*39 cm). See photos in the gallery.
