SELENA (Σελήνη), in Greek mythology, the personification of the moon (Greek - σέλας, “light”, “radiance”)
Selena is the sister of the Sun; she has wings and a golden crown on her head, from which a soft light spreads over the sky and earth. The day of the spring equinox is dedicated to her, when she, having made a long journey and washed in the waves of the ocean, puts on sparkling clothes.
