Dress hem

My reflections on sexuality and femininity led me to believe that women's sexuality is largely manifested through clothing. And I was looking for ways to convey this thought through the means of art.

The search ended with the creation of a series of works "Sexuality". Each of whose paintings conveys this quality through the image of a separate element of a woman's wardrobe.

This is how the painting "The hem of a dress" was born. In the days of crinolines and wigs, a man went crazy with only one sight of a naked female ankle. Today's morals are much freer, but I think the folds of the raised skirt or the hem of the dress cause no less awe.

Materials used:

- canvas on a wooden stretcher 50x60 cm;
- satin fabric;
- high-quality light-resistant acrylic paint.
