    How does life in a big city affect a person's life?

    In the urban ecosystem, people are overwhelmed by the huge amount of information that enters them. It is very difficult for our brain to cope with it. The nervous system of modern man is overloaded like never before.

    A person adapts to the media environment and adapts it for himself. However, we are seeing a large increase in mental deviations and disorders that surround a resident of a metropolis.

    In this picture, I tried to reflect how I see a big city from the side. It is bright, it beckons. Everyone wants to plunge into it and live in its rhythm. But what are the consequences of such a life? One question but so many answers...

    Concept

    The only genre I feel comfortable working in is abstraction. I love oil paints, palette knife and canvas. Technically, I like to create dynamics and volume in my paintings, I want the viewer to be able to immerse themselves in different layers of my work.

    While painting, I try to separate the mental state of a person from his physical body and transfer it all to the canvas, turn it into a constant, fix the worldview, both of myself and of other people. I often put myself in the place of other people, trying to understand how they feel in different situations. I try on their emotional state on myself, like a costume. It seems to me that sincere empathy is something that is so lacking in modern society.

    Of course, many works are my personal history and reflection of certain periods of my life. But at the same time, I know for sure that a huge number of people feel and live the same way.
