Poster from the cycle "The Posters: 2001 - 2022". All cycle includes about 2000 works
Each hand-painted artwork was made on paper 100x70 cm, mixed media (acrylic, gouache, pencils, ballpoint pen and markers).
The idea of cycle briefly is a kind of ironic resurrection of good old items of eighties of previous century - picture that bares name of a famous band or artist which could be hung on a wall.

About artist’s signature in this cycle:

Melo-maniacs of a specific sort know that surname Swansong contains obvious contaminations - Swans were my obsession for a long time,i made many posters dedicated to their albums and songs. Than there is a beatiful track Sing Swan Song in a fabulous record Ege Bamyasi of divine band Can - so i sort of “sang” that “song for rather a time - but lately changed my aka and chose Mikha Benks - that refers a bit ironically to when i was eight and leaded a role of Michael Banks in than soviet movie Mary Poppins Is Back

Concept

Philipp created a number of serious and remarkable works of plastic art, in sculpture, painting and graphics. Among his most notable works is the monumental and decorative fountain "Inspiration" near the Tretyakov Gallery
Among the best sculpture's works of Philipp there is a cycle of Teapots. In them, a real object that has a specific function is endowed by the author with a whole clip of associative meanings, similar to the field of contexts that affect the feelings of viewers contemplating outwardly similar objects in G. Morandi's still lives, which are a kind of self-portraits of the emotional states and thoughts of the Italian artist
Over the past years, Philipp has been working a lot as a painter and graphic artist on the so-called "Posters", in which intuitive-subconscious perception finds an outlet in surreal forms of figurative embodiment.

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
