The artist sails herself, so she knows very well what she paints, the sails, regattas and yachts are a part of her life. This is why you can see here the real position of the boats and sails settings. These yachts really move with the wind. You can also feel the dynamics of the race and the temperature of the atmosphere. Aseeva applies acrylic in thick layers as oil paint and uses palette knife to create vibration of the atmosphere. She says: "I love sailing and last year participated in Giraglia Rolex 2021 - an iconic regatta in Italy. The race, sails and sea are a unique experience. I managed to make watercolors during the race(!) and then I used them to create bigger pictures. I also took lots of photos and I use only my references for the artworks, working with the things I really have seen and I know"
