LEGENDS ABOUT THE POPPY.
Poppy is possibly the oldest cultivated plant. According to ancient Roman legend, the poppy appeared from the tears of Venus (the goddess of gardens, beauty and love), she shed when found out about the death of the beautiful young man Adonis.
According to Buddhist legend, a poppy grew up on earth, touched by the eyelashes of the sleeping Buddha.
The painting was painted during the first wave of the pandemic. I was not at home in Russia, but abroad in Turkey. It was spring and I could walk for a long time in the mountains and watch the poppies bloom.

Concept

My credo is life through the prism of abstract painting. I think that abstractionism is the most powerful expression of feelings in an artistic image.
In each picture, I tell a story and I want people not only to contemplate, but also to think with me about the topic that I reveal in the picture. It's wonderful to see when the viewer is involved in the world of abstraction and is on the same wavelength with me. Begins to feel, live and rethink what he saw on my canvases. This is my mission as an artist.

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
