My favorite flowers are peonies.
In traditional Chinese and Japanese art, peonies represent feminine beauty as well as wealth and status. Peonies are of particular importance in China, the homeland of this flower. In this country, the peony is the national flower and symbolizes wealth, power and is often found in traditional painting, silk embroidery, national dress and jewelry. Here you can see three delicate flowers on a light background. The only contrast is a Chinese vase, which gives the picture a decorative effect.
