Acrylic on canvas on cardboard, painted and varnished with Winsor & Newton Galeria Acrylic
Painted as a manifestation of admiration for birds.

What I was thinking about when applying paints to the surface while creating this piece? I was thinking about transparency and clearness. And how precious they are to me. Because now, it's such a drama, and the both are so drastically disappearing, and that hurts.
You know, creating these naive cuties gives me the feeling that although the world is shrinking, still, it is not the whole world. And I want it to be an eternal story that little sandpipers run after and from the sea waves probing soft sands for prey. And that it's a shame that we forgot that we are just one species of many, one of a billion... only one, which is actually good, and which we definitely should remember.
