The details and the little parts of the composition come together to create a whole; it is an authentic look at what I believe Australian spring brings us, through a lens which allows for powerful contrast and complimenting within the warm colours, to bring forth an experience unlike any other. The painting with textures all unique and every brushstroke playing an important part in the story, exhibit the core of Australian fauna - a cockatoo - peeking out from the side of blooming proteas, jacaranda flowers and paper daisies. The fresh fruits brought to us from the bloom in spring, like the sweet papayas or the juicy lemons, all stand together to create a harmonious depiction of such an amazing season.
