"Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself" by Coco Chanel. Pure beauty lies in harmony, which expresses individuality. Each flower is beautiful, each is endowed with its own uniqueness. A person is able not only to notice and analyze the beauty of the body, but also to see spirituality in it, to catch a thought, to distinguish the divine spark. This simple idea is very relevant in our age, when the concept of beauty has been reduced to a template, and the image of a woman, once praised by poets and artists, has turned into an "image", a kind of constructor. However, it is worth looking at the world of nature, and I see this blooming and life-affirming essence of a woman.
My work is the creation on canvas of a connection between the world around me and fantasy, capturing those moments that are ingrained in my memory and the lines that touched me to the quick. Semi-abstract expressive and gesticulating floral paintings in a rich, bold color palette. Bold acrylic sketches that reference organic shapes. Then I darken the details with several layers of uneven color, jumping back and forth, creating a thick layer of paint in some areas, while others remain thin and open, in the final stages I use oil to emphasize contrast and texture.
