He works mainly with sumi ink (an excellent material for expressing inner spirituality), and uses sumi ink, pigments, and acrylic paints, mainly indigo, on Japanese paper. The things we see change from moment to moment like the glow of evening light, depending on the time of day, the season, the space, and the state of our spirit as we view them. No two landscapes or materials are the same. What can be expressed in painting is nothing other than an attempt to catch the truth beyond all existing phenomena. I hope that those who think abstract works are incomprehensible can understand them sensitively. I hope that the viewers will feel the scenery of their hearts that they have forgotten somewhere.
