The repetition of one icon is depicted in the subject matter of popular materials as symbols of mass consumption and symbolic society. The repetition of iconic motifs, such as the American flag and the McDonald's logo, which are familiar to everyone and abound in everyday life, calls into question the nature of popular culture in today's society. By reconstructing these motifs in a minimalist manner, the original connotations are deconstructed and a new perspective is presented. The techniques of repetition and sampling reflect the mechanisms of mass production and mass consumption in consumer society, while at the same time visualizing how easily individual images can be reproduced and reused. The artist aims to condense universal themes within a minimalist presentation. Although the technique of repetition and sampling may seem simple at first glance, behind it lie complex issues such as consumer culture, identity, and human nature in contemporary society. The series presents these issues in a visual form and encourages the viewer to think about them.
