Concept

Nonsky (Nelson Lance Donsky) is an unusual and eclectic artist whose work is unbound by a single conceptual style, a 'style of no style'. Trusting that his mind and hand alone will create a style that is ever evolving and resists creative stagnation. This creative process is sometimes intentional but just as often it occurs through unintentionally, accident, inspiration, coincidence, and improvisation.

Choosing to create colourful high quality works across a range of visual art rubrics, most of his finished works focus on neo-impressionism acrylic paintings and mixed media approaches along with forays into digital media. With a sometimes representational and illustrative touch influenced by the genre's of fantasy and cyberpunk along with transcendental themes, much of Nonsky's arts show's the artist's deep emotional landscape through a glimpse of the complex imagined geometry, symbolism, and colour of the mind's eye.

Alternatively, the artist sometimes creates completely abstract improvisational work as well as experimental pieces, in both cases there is a range of approaches from inspired sublime and visionary art methodologies to the completely emergent and joyful.
