This work is the result of a travel memory to the Black Sea in Winter. I painted it trying to represent the emotion of seeing a magnificent seascape.
I created the artwork in January 2022 after my return to Austria.
One cold morning after a heavy snowfall, all are flooded with snow. I looked at the boundless calm sea, and the snow was slowly falling with fluffy fluff, and there was a fragile, enchanting silence around me. The sky is already clear, the color of the sea and the blue of the sky, in contrast with the white snow, are always neutral.
The artwork-creating process is for me to look for new effects, a new look at the expression of ideas, harmonious combinations of colors, and shapes, and a rhythm that cannot be repeated.
Painting leads me each time to a new exploration of being in the moment.
The painting was presented in two exhibitions and has Prize Award.
