Feel the movement of the sea in this abstract composition inspired by the views of the Yorkshire
coasts. Walking along the Cleveland Way from Filey Brigg to Scarborough, Tina was taken by the
breathtaking scenery that the ocean, the sky, and the cliffs threw at her. In her Scarborough studio,
she captured it all in this abstract painting. Layers of India ink, carbon pencils, and acrylic colors form
the baseline of Tina's tangible and abstract clifftops perspective.
In the corner, clashes of deep blue and maroon hues serve as a reminder of the cliff's
geological presence. A subtle yet romantic rock formation that gets engulfed and rocked into a sea
of gentle blues. Looking at this artwork, you can almost feel the soft touch of the sun on your skin as
you walk the clifftops. Always in motion, the sea swirls and crashes on the layers of the sandstone cliffs.
As if diving into it, "Walking with tides" rocks us in an amalgam of soft bright blues and dark brown
navy tones for a peaceful yet powerful result that will bring a sense of serenity to any room.
