There's also a sense of awakening, a feeling of coolness when you look at them, and a feeling that they're going to help you air out. My feeling is that it's a "picture" of a moment when you think it's summer but you wake up early in the morning, open the window of your room, the breeze coming in is cooler and cooler than you expected, and you feel that "only in the morning it's autumn".
