Description

A peaceful country landscape featuring a classic 6 window Chevrolet pickup truck as it approaches a grain elevator on the prairie. This landscape has been created using only professional grade acrylics on a 16x20 inch un-stretched canvas. The painting covers the entire canvas. A layer of water based varnish has been applied to further enhance the protection of the surface and to bring out the colors more vibrantly.

Concept

My concept is to create art with a vibrancy to be felt as well as seen. Anthony Dunphy is a Newfoundland artist born with a flair for bright and vibrant acrylics paintings. He has been featured in a number of magazines and newspapers. As well as being juried into and showing at the Amazon Art exhibition held at Grand Central Station in New York City. Anthony's car art has been featured on the British car television program, The Grand Tour. He has also painted the cover art for the Los Angeles Big Band group Echo Park Project's CD tribute to Dizzy Gillespie; Two Bass Hits. Presently he is represented by galleries in Canada, America, England and now, Hong Kong and Japan.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
