Avalanche is a rapid, sudden movement of snow and (or) ice down steep mountain slopes, posing a threat to human life and health, causing damage to economic objects and the natural environment.
A snow avalanche is a natural disaster comparable in destructive power to a hurricane, flood, earthquake or volcanic eruption.
An enormous mass of snow, tearing down a mountain slope, destroys everything in its path: forests, railroads, highways, houses, and industrial buildings. An avalanche that topples from a height of 500 meters reaches speeds of 180 km/h (50 m/s). It can carry many thousands of cubic meters of snow with it.
This abstract diptych is created in fluid art using acrylic paint and gold and silver metallic enamel. Each piece is 40*40 cm. Price for 2 parts.
