The idea for the painting came after visiting the aerotube attraction in the city of Rostov-on-Don. My son flew in the Aerotube and then I took some photographs. Later, looking at the photo, I saw this story, how the boy, his cat and quince were flying. It is easy for them, they have lifted off the ground and soar in the air, but they cannot fly out of bounds. Just like all of us now, when flights with some countries are limited or impossible due to the pandemic. As we are all now, because we feel a sense of lack of freedom due to restrictions within our countries.
