I painted this picture of a gerbera flower that continues to bloom every year in my garden where I grew up.
My grandfather planted the gerbera 100 years ago, and its strong roots produce bright red flowers every year.
I painted this picture thinking of my family and of my kind grandfather who gave me my name.
In this chaotic time, I believe that there is a certain light in the distance........
I exhibited this painting in 2022 when I painted it, but I kept it for a while without letting it go.
It is a work that I am very attached to, as it is a work in which I was able to experiment with various painting materials.
It is a small painting, but the gold frame gives it more presence, and I am sure it will stand up to the test of time.
It is not a bright painting, but I am sure it will stay with you.
