Painting materials: acrylic paint on canvas Black is another color that I have consciously avoided, but recently I have come to want to paint pictures in which fine particles are dancing in the dark, and something fresh can be felt because of the darkness. When I was a student, there was a moment when I was walking alone at night and found beautiful particles in the darkness that moved me to tears. It may be difficult, almost impossible, to paint that moment, but there may be something I can do with black and its surrounding colors, so from now on I would like to actively paint pictures with dark tones. I think that dark does not mean scary or negative, but there is a blissful, powdery brightness hidden within it.
