Concept

I am inspired by people, faces, character, emotions. My paintings combine realism, expressionism and abstraction. My goal is to reveal the emotions, mood and personality of each image. The color helps me with this. Behind the expressive color spots hides the most secret and intimate that we want to hide. And sometimes our secrets and our true selves fade into the shadows, and only what we want to say to this world remains in the light. My post-pop paintings in portray raw emotions, power and passion. Bold imagery with a bright color palette in my paintings is contrasted with brushstrokes and color spray to uncover the emotions, mood and individuality of each face. As the artist states, “Art and painting are my passion, without which I can't live. Only painting gives me energy and optimism. I am inspired by people, emotions and feelings. In my paintings, I show emotions that escape in the next moment. And I want the viewer to feel them too. We are all so different, and I would like to show the most amazing shapes of the soul.”
