These flowers in their brilliant red-orange hues, flame the cities and country-sides all across India during the spring months of February to April . This year, I could not step out of home during this period due to worldwide pandemic but through art, could soak in their beauty as I painted them. Done with spatula and brush work, along with textured background to break the monotony of the blue sky, interpersed with wispy willowy clouds. This work is done in triptych mode in three separate canvases ( the side two panels being 9.5 x 24 inch each and the centre panel being 18 x 24 inch), each with their own identity and composition, yet harmonious when displayed together. These Gallery wrapped canvases have a thickness of 2 inch all over and has been painted with same theme on all sides of each three canvas - to retain the continuity and beauty when viewed from all angles.
