The painting is a collaboration of artists Doris Reske and Cathrin Gressieker. In our ongoing experimental and intuitive CoLab painting process we paint on large canvases, take turns and the layering can take up to a couple of months, or even years, until a finished piece emerges and takes form.
'Reflection II' is a bold celebration of early summer mornings, 8am morning swims and the feeling of a landscape.
It is painted using quality, high pigmented and light-fast acrylic paints on a 100% cotton canvas. It is varnished with a satin UV protective coat.
