The artist_
Uma Haime has been experimenting since her teens with different artistic languages as dance, theatre and painting. The condition of a traveller and migrant had become for her a training of an artistic sensibility. In the last five years she presented her abstract paintings and installation in Greece, Italy, Czech Republic, Korea and USA(NY).
The artistic practice_

Changes of emotional state appear on the pictorial surface. A slight yellow dose of paint gradually widens to represent insecurity. The acyclic expands and overlaps with a bright fuchsia, which had fallen into the painting as a sign of fulfilment. Colours and shapes interpret experiences and emotions on the theatre constituted by the canvas.
Between the scratches of colour, I let a lot of white passes through, the void that makes space between the shapes. If colours for me are emotions in conflict with each other, but in search of harmony; White is a universal mystery that is hidden in every mean of life.
This painting is an acrylic on paper, is a unic pices signed on the back and front of the painting.
Shipment: The works are shipped unframed in a 110x80cm wide cardboard box, protected with packaging.
