When we are children we tend to listen more to our hearts than to our minds. As we grow up older, logic, thoughts, the idea of how things are supposed to be and the rules of our society take control of our actions and of our minds, they slowly become more important to us than our feelings. This is what inspired me to paint the "Fallen Angel", her wings symbolize the pureness of the childlike heart and as they slowly melt into a sea of rules, the symbols of logic like mathematical equations are taking the place of them.
The painting took part at the exhibition of ARTBOX.PROJECTS 0.1 in Zurich, Switzerland.
