Through the different shades of blue, we dive from the sky into the atolls of the Pacific Ocean. The colors of this work painted in acrylic with spatulas in tones ranging from turquoise blue to deep blue are enhanced with gold leaf to catch the light. Through this abstract canvas in square format, the viewer is invited to imagine all sorts of shapes in this blue immensity and then brings him magic and emotions!

Concept

The use of mixed techniques with the mixture of material and effect paint brings transparency, mattness and light at the same time. The mixture and superimposition of textures produce honeycombed and hammered effects resembling mother-of-pearl and giving the paintings their shine and glazed appearance. In the world of reactive paints, these canvases are painted with brushes, spatulas and knives in order to bring out the materials being worked.
The crackled effects and the addition of gold leaves give life to the canvases and reflect depth, light and emotions.
The colours are enhanced with gold, silver and copper leaves to catch the light.
They blend together and juxtapose to create effects of light and matter.
