Two kids are playing in the water. They are kneeling and do not look towards the viewer, but intently into the distance, the dune, that lies beyond the beach. Their staring leads the viewer to look somewhere else. The attention is taken away from the children, the water, the movement of the sea, the reflections of the the boy and girl in the water and is diverted to something that is far in the distance.
The wind blows lightly, agitating the waters, carrying some sand towards the dune creating a unique hyperrealistic scene, where every detail counts to bring forth the vividness of the instant.
