This painting has been added recently to the "Secret Gardens serie" Like an ancient fresco, this painting reflects my ambition to get closer to the iconography of other eras.
Using darker colors than the usual, the fresh green grass that differs from the chosen hues also more dull than in my other paintings.
A return to the old, to the frescoes by textures and colors of ochre.
This painting closes the series of secret gardens with a more intimate, more complicated subject, that of the sleep of my central character but which also reminds us of our "lost tree", this Juliette who sleeps deep in a small forest around a big city.
