INSPIRATION FOR THE WORK: Since I was a child, I used to go to my godmother's house at weekends with my parents and siblings. We'd play all day and the adults would play cards. We always returned home after dark. When my father called us to leave, I ran to the car to get in and take my place: the trunk. I was a child less than 1 meter tall. I lay there comfortably with my stomach up. I kept my eyes fixed on the sky. The whole way, I was watching the stars shine and admiring the moon.
The feeling I had in my childish mind was that it was there to guide us with its brightness. At every corner the car entered, it hid behind the buildings, but then reappeared, smiling beautifully at me. It accompanied us at every traffic light, neighborhood and street. While my father maneuvered the car into park and turned off the engine, I stayed there, concentrating and mentally saying goodbye to her.
When it was time to go to sleep, my father put me to bed and covered me with a sheet. He would sit next to me, stroke my forehead with his hands and say a prayer with me. And I would mentally give thanks for another night of being accompanied by her: our beautiful Mother Moon. EMOLVED SYMBOLISM Mother Moon, so beautiful and crystalline, surrenders to the action of the universe, dividing it into a beautiful night and a beautiful day. She breaks down into various performances and even in her simple light allows for the fantastic appreciation of the Sun. Subtly, she teaches us that the unique brilliance of each person does not allow for the overshadowing of the next. Together we enrich our surroundings, brightening our journey with healing and eternal personal light. The sky is enriched every day by the brilliance released from our hearts. With the outpouring of energy, it in no way allows each part to stop shining.
