    Concept

At Maison de Lee our concept is to paint beautiful abstract art from shapes that light creates hitting iconic London buildings.

We love getting our inspiration from the crisp lines & geometry that architecture provides, particularly from Modernist or Brutalist buildings.

All of our work although abstract has an origin and authenticity as a result.

Under our roof we use 1 colour as a base paint which is mixed to create shades and highlights but results in the painting having a great tonal quality to it. It also means that paintings look beautiful hung together.

We paint on to linen which has a lovely texture and is exposed using negative space in our compositions.

In the Jardin we love to pay homage to nature by creating pencil studies of plants also.

Maison de Lee champions sustainable living & environmentally friendly values through the opportunity to reduce waste & up cycle in its artwork.

♻️ All of our art work uses carbon neutral paint and I repurpose old canvas frames that people put in the Garbage.

♻️ Our packaging is plastic free and made from, recycled & recyclable materials.
