Concept

If Art has to be the only true form of truth and honesty, then painting is a conversation, a more or less disguised fight. Through the creative, there’s no other way but to be honest with yourself and the artwork that is being created.
Being humble is essential. The creative process is stronger than the artist. The painting itself is ruled by truths that we can’t apprehend. There’s something above that dictates its needs too.
The material and the format do not matter. They vary depending on the intention, because each feeling requires a certain expression. Just like the same shape can mean an infinite number of things, each element exists on different levels and one sculpture can reveal several dimensions.

There’s no right or wrong interpretations of my work. It’s ok not to understand. No one needs to understand. The “why” doesn’t matter. Art should be related to a moment out of time. When everything stands still. It’s every artist’s mission to remind people that Art is something we can’t completely grasp.
I don’t plan on defining anything. I don’t expect no specific reaction. Intimacy is the goal, the subject and the language. The move is the key.
Human nature tends to search for contentment. Success, wealth, satisfaction of the ego, pain, addiction, reassuring superficiality are all tools to an unstable balance.
I am looking through the abandon of the pur figurative to weave the links between the cosmetic and the deep cracks of personality in order to present a world as true to what it appears to my eyes. Adding surrealistic elements can be understood as an emphasis of this moral nonsense just like the registration of the subject in an abstract environment can be used to highlight the drift of a soul looking for answers.

By keeping a distance to the reality of shapes and physical characteristics, composing with incorrect proportions and inaccurate colors, my approach is to pierce through the visible surface to dive into an intimate
