When I stumbled upon a tiny jar of sparkles and a tube of violet acrylic this work formed in my mind immediately. Then it was totally up to how the paint lies and the sparkles fall. Thus, a nebula appeared. And after a couple of months of thinking and searching for THE shape, the work was completed.
It was interesting how materials led me through the process on this one. First, it was acrylic paint that formed relief and shapes on canvas after drying. Then, there were sparkles which could produce no predictable result. However, these alone did not satisfy me and I had to search for a suitable shape of a mandala to put over the shimmering background. And so, space objects and thoughts of the Universe contributed to my selection of a round graphic piece.
